Girl guiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. We are active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good.

Yateley Country Markets

Every Friday morning at 09.45 to 11.45 am at Monteagle Hall (nr Waitrose) and second Saturday of every month in Yateley Library 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Yateley Country Market sells a big selection of home produced cakes, savouries, preserves, chutneys, vegetables, fruit, cut flowers, plants, fascinators, cards and various craft items. We also offer the opportunity to talk to our producers and customers over a cup of coffee and a piece of home made cake.
If you like baking, making jam or craft, please pop in to talk to us about joining our happy band of marketeers or just pop in.  You will be most welcome.

Daisy Chain Cafe - For people with memory loss and their carers. Held every Monday (except bank holidays) from 2pm until 4pm.

Chinese boxing - Chinese boxing is the systemic and effective Chinese art of self-defence.  It is a traditional martial art aimed to progressively train your body as well as your mind to achieve positive health and to acquire effective skill to defend yourself successfully at all times.

Beginners are most welcome and may start on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm where we encourage you to train alongside other grades.

The Tythings

Yateley& District U3A

The Yateley & District U3A meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at Sandhurst Memorial Hall, with a speaker, notices to look at and various tables for information about outings etc.

The U3A has 40+ different groups to join, several of which are held in the Tythings.

Age group is not stated but generally not in gainful employment.

Yateley Camera Club was founded in 1974. We have a range of members, from beginner to professional photographer and we meet at the Tythings every Wednesday evening throughout the season, which runs from September to June.  We have a comprehensive programme of competitions (Digital projection and prints), presentations and tutorial evenings.
