What We Are Doing About Climate Change

Summary of What We Are Doing:

• We have upgraded the loft insulation at our offices and the Tythings, we will also be installing solar panels on both buildings
• We have installed LED lights in our offices and are looking at rolling this out to all our other buildings and the floodlights on the tennis courts
• We are committed to planting trees in Yateley, Darby Green, and Frogmore. We planted trees in spring 2024 and will shortly be planting more, including at the Community Orchard
• We have switched our energy supplier to one who uses 100% renewable energy
• We hope to install solar panels on all our buildings, upgrade heating throughout, and aim towards being 100% self sufficient through electricity generation in a few years’ time
• Three members of staff are Certified Carbon Literate
• We Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle wherever possible, including only printing what is necessary, reducing our use of single use plastics and the amount of waste we produce, reusing resources when practicable, and recycling as much as possible
