Yateley Town Council welcomes small grant applications of up to £1,000 from local organisations, voluntary groups and charities. The grant can be used for a project or piece of equipment, but not for ongoing running costs, and must be for an activity taking place in the future. The Council’s Finance & Policy Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving grant applications. Grants will only be made to charities, voluntary organisations or constituted groups for the benefit of the area covered by the Town Council and that will contribute positively to the life of people living, working and visiting the areas of Yateley, Frogmore and Darby Green. The Town Council will only provide funding to assist organisations that are not based in the town of Yateley or in Frogmore or Darby Green, pro-rata for local residents using that service. The Council publishes a list of grants it has awarded over the last few financial years.
Please ensure your grant application fits the policy before you submit it and double check that you have included the additional information requested. Please note that there may be a delay in considering your application due to the timing of Council meetings.
The Council publishes it’s expenditure reports monthly, which shows all expenditure over £500, including contractual payments (excluding staff salaries and other miscellaneous small payments, which are detailed in the Council minutes).
