Decision Statement on Making the Yateley, Darby Green & Frogmore Neighbourhood Plan

The Yateley, Darby Green & Frogmore Neighbourhood Plan was formally made at the Hart District Council  meeting on 28 July 2022, following on from the ‘Yes’ result at the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum.

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum 30th June 2022

Following the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on 30th June 2022, those who voted did so overwhelmingly so in favour of adopting the plan. The Neighbourhood Plan will now sit under Hart District Council’s Local Plan and form part of the Town Council’s planning policy, providing guidance on how the parish should evolve over the coming years.

2398 ballot papers were issued, which accounts for approximately 15% of the eligible electorate. 2185 people (91%) voted yes and 210 people (9%) voted no to the question “Do you want Hart District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for the Yateley, Darby Green and Frogmore Neighbourhood Planning Area to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
