Open Spaces
We are passionate about the 44 hectares of Public Open Spaces that we manage on behalf of the residents of the Parish. If you see an issue, you can contact us on 01252 872198 or office@yateley-tc.gov.uk. Please contact the police on 999 is there is an immediate threat to safety or property.
Our sites range from amenity grassland to wooded areas, with ponds and wildflower areas. Please note that BBQs and motorised vehicles, including dirt or quad bikes, are not allowed on our land.
Yateley Green
A large expanse of Common Land at the heart of the town, home to its large pond and beautiful wildflower area it extends into the woodland areas to the north and west and to Church End Green to the east.
Darby Green Playing Fields
Another large area of Common Land located off Darby Green Road used for football and informal recreation. It is also home to a wildlife pond.
Swan Lake Park
8.5 hectares of species rich grassland set next to the Blackwater River, this fantastic park offers a circular walk around beautiful lakes. It is peaceful and rich with wildlife. Access is from Darby Green Lane into the site’s car park.
Frogmore Green
A beautiful area of Village Green acting as a focal point for Frogmore.
Monteagle Open Space
A lovely tranquil area of amenity grass land situated next to Yateley Common.
