Do you know someone who has had a positive impact on the community in Yateley?

The Mayor’s Community Awards are open to individuals who have gone above and beyond to make a real difference to the communities of Yateley, Frogmore and/or Darby Green.

Each winning individual will receive a certificate from the Mayor during the Annual Town Meeting on 16th March.

Award Criteria

1. Eligibility of Previous Winners

Those who have received a Mayor’s Community Award within the past 3 years are not eligible for nomination. This ensures a broad and diverse range of nominees and avoids repeat recognition in close succession.

2. Residency or Local Impact

Nominees must either:

• be ordinarily resident in Yateley, or
• have made a significant and positive impact on the communities of Yateley, Darby Green or Frogmore.

3. Voluntary Work Only

Nominations must relate solely to voluntary, unpaid contributions. Activities performed as part of paid employment cannot be considered.

4. Final Decision

The Council’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

If you are nominating someone under 18, please provide the contact details for their parent/guardian. In writing about why you would like to nominate the person, set out the positive impact they have had on the Yateley Community and why you think they should win the Award.
