We are delighted to announce that we has been awarded a grant from Hampshire County Council’s Parish and Town Council Investment Fund. This generous grant will be used to install solar panels on two of our community buildings: The Council Offices and the Tythings Community Building.
This initiative is a significant step forward in supporting our Climate Agenda, with the ambitious goal of reaching net zero by 2030. The installation of solar panels will not only reduce the carbon footprint of these buildings but also promote sustainable energy practices within the community.

The solar panel installation is expected to begin shortly and will be completed by March 2025. We will continue to explore and implement innovative solutions to achieve our climate goals and encourage residents to participate in these efforts.
