We are very excited to announce the first trial of a tapestry lawn in Yateley! The seeds have been funded by Yateley Women’s Social Group with The Yateley Society planting the seeds outside Forge Court (see map below). The seeds that are being planted are a grass free wildflower lawn seed mix, which includes wild orchid, wild thyme, lawn chamomile, and wild marjoram. We are very excited to see how this trial goes! Planting will take place on 24th and 25th February 2024. Wildflowers are an important habitat, providing pollinators such as bees and butterflies with food, and establishing complex root systems. We will update you with some photos after planting has taken place.
